Sandvik visitor comes to visit our classroom


Mr. Lindsay from Sandvik came and worked with our students in the hallway on our letter sounds. He enjoyed his visit.

We dressed as pilgrims and indians and ate our Thanksgiving Meal in our classroom today. Enjoy our pictures! Happy Thanksgiving!

One of our students is collecting can food for their Boy Scout project. The food will be given to a local charity. Please try to send in at least 1 can or more with your child this week and help out our local Boy Scouts,

HOMEWORK:
Math Sheet and write your HF words 2 times each.

Don’t forget about the Thanksgiving writing for our parents to write this week!

What We will Learn this week:

Reading: We will review all of our past letters and learn two new letters: Gg and Ff. We will work on sounds and formation of these letters. We will also learn new HF words: on and to.

Writing: we will continue to work on trying to sound out words to describe our pictures.

Math: We will review 0-20. Please be counting things at home to help with these, such as pennies, rocks, noodles, and/or toothpicks. We also need to know how to write these numbers as well as recognize them.

Social Studies: Thanksgiving, Indians/Pilgrims. We will have a Thanksgiving feast with our lunch in our rooms Friday dressed as Pilgrims and Indians. I’ll take lots of pictures and post them on our blog.
