Dr. Seuss/Read across America Day starts this week. Here is a list of what we have planned:
Tuesday: Fox in Socks Day - wear

Thursday: Cat in the Hat Day - wear

Friday: I Am Not Going to Get Out
of Bed Day - wear your most
Comfortable clothes day

Kindergarten screening for future kindergarteners will be March 12 & 13th. If you have a child that will be starting kindergarten, please call the school and set up an appointment to have your child screened.
*No School on March 23rd.
Spring Pictures are March 27th.
3rd nine week report cards go home March 31st.
* April 10th is our make up day for snow.

HOMEWORK:
Homework sheets are in your child’s folder. Please do these with your child and return on Friday.
What We will Learn this week:
Reading: We will learn the letters Jj and Vv, rhyming words, and new HF words: look and come. We will also read lots of Dr. Seuss books and do activities with them.
Math: We continue to work on money, penny, nickel, dime, and quarter. We need to know what they look like and how much they are worth.
